The family of a child who sustained critical wounds after getting pushed from the top floor of London's Tate Modern have stated their "little knight" has reached his goal of succeeding to jump, swim, and run again.

This European youngster was six years old when he was hurled from a ledge by a youth, at that time 17.

He, who was on holiday with the family in the summer of 2019 when assaulted, endured a 100ft plunge but received permanent harm, including a bleed on the brain and shattered bones.

His family said in an update on a donation platform, they were delighted that he had been capable to improve with his swimming, running and jumping before his forthcoming surgery.

"He doesn't do it like kids at his age, of course, but we can no longer describe what he does in another manner than by terming it's jumping, swimming, and running."

The boy, who passed many months in ICU, has continued to gain cognitive endurance.

After a trial at the Old Bailey, the adolescent was found guilty of murder attempt and was incarcerated in the year 2020 for no less than a decade and a half.
