Humid circumstances were expected to linger along large portions of eastern Queensland this coming days as a atmospheric system continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.

The following day was predicted as the wettest day, with persistent thunderstorm potential anticipated across multiple regions of both regions.

Health Warning

Health officials warned that there was an greater possibility of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the state's northern country region, especially given the existing atmospheric conditions.
