In a bizarre collaboration that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine sect.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to numerous objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
